Adult Education Centres

Beautiful weather.  Enthusiastic volunteers.  Generous Winnipeggers.  What’s not to love?  In the early morning of September 29th, 2010, eight students and two staff gathered to hawk Winnipeg Free Press paper for literacy at the corner of Main and Mountain near our centre.  Motorists responded with their usual generosity by donating $740.00.  Fourteen groups participated across the city, raising $12,000 to be used for local literacy programs.  Thanks to all who participated and donated!
